Steven Kamody.

Window World has selected Steven Kamody to be its new president, effective immediately.

“Steve’s knowledge and passion for Window World make him a true asset and an ideal fit for the role of president,” said Tammy Whitworth, chairman and CEO of Window World, who had also served as interim president following the retirement of Dana Deem in January. “We look forward to his leadership and contributions to our continued growth and evolution.”

Kamody, who was selected for his new role after a unanimous vote of the company’s board of directors, has more than 20 years of experience in the industry. He most recently served as Window World’s vice president of sales. In that capacity, Kamody oversaw sales of the organization’s more than 200 locations nationwide. As president, he says he’ll continue to work hand-in-hand with store owners.

“Over the past several years, I’ve had the unique opportunity to serve stores and work closely with Window World owners in a variety of capacities,” Kamody said. “I look forward to building on those relationships in my new role. It is an honor to serve as president of America’s largest exterior remodeling company, and I am extremely optimistic about our future.”

Kamody holds a master’s degree in business administration from Baldwin Wallace University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kent State University, both in Ohio.
