EverMark-LNL of Suwanee, Ga., recently purchased a 146,000-square-foot wood moulding manufacturing plant in Chilhowe, Va., that was formerly owned by Sure-Wood Forest Products, an American Forest Products company.

The new operation will be named Innovative Millwork Technologies.

“We are extremely excited about what Innovative Millwork Technologies brings to EverMark, and what it means to our position in the marketplace,” said Todd Zureick, vice president of sales for EverMark-LNL, in a statement. “The people in Chilhowie are devoted and dedicated to their craft, and their attention to quality and detail is impressive.”

The new owners plan to hire additional staff for the facility, says Lori Hester, the director of Community & Economic Development for Smyth County, Virginia.

“They’re just going to pick up where Sure-Wood left off and keep on trucking,” she said.

The sale was conducted by Tiger Capital Group’s remarketing services division.

The assets at the plant included woodworking equipment, a machine shop, forklifts, plant support and office equipment.

EverMark-LNL, founded in 1995, is celebrating 20 years of providing doors, door frames and stair parts to the home building industry. The EverMark-LNL family of companies includes LNL Building Products, Stair Parts Supply, Stair Parts, Inc., and Regency Stair Parts.
