The Marvin Companies have promoted Dan Marvin to vice president of business development.

In this new role, he’ll be responsible for identifying opportunities to expand the company’s portfolio in ways that align with its mission and vision, according to a release. He starts in his new position immediately.

Dan, a fourth-generation Marvin family member, joined the company in 1998 and has held many positions there. Most recently, he was the business manager for Infinity Windows and Doors, Marvin’s premier line of fiberglass replacement windows, where he was responsible for the brand’s introduction and growth.

“Dan’s experience, along with his entrepreneurial strengths and ability to build strong relationships within and outside the industry has made him an essential part of our team,” said Marvin Windows and Doors president Susan Marvin.  “As a family owned and operated business, Dan has been actively involved in the company for many years and has played an integral role in the company’s growth.  In this new position, it allows him to focus his efforts in a way that will enable Marvin to take advantage of new opportunities and allow our business to grow in a way that aligns with our values.”
