Chelsea Building Products is adding to its employee repertoire.

The company announced the addition of Mark Lipsius as business development manager of specialty products. He will focus on expanding Chelsea’s customer base in that sector.

A graduate of the University of Tennessee with a bachelor of arts degree in sociology, Lipsius has worked in the sales and marketing of building products for 27 years, both in distribution and manufacturing.

The company has also promoted Gary Hartman to the role of vice president of sales and marketing. Hartman began his career in the door and window industry more than 30 years ago and is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

He began his career with Season-All Industries in 1983, then worked at Chelsea from 1985-1995, where he held various sales and marketing positions. From 1995–2008, he continued to work in the fenestration industry in product management, sales and marketing management. Since rejoining Chelsea Building Products in 2008, he has been involved in marketing communications, customer service management, customer relations, new business and product development.
