Another sign the recession is lifting is evident at the Andersen Corp.

The company has announced it will pay out more than $8 million in profit sharing to all eligible employees, who will each receive $1,080.

In 2014, the company announced it would reinstate profit sharing after the program was suspended for a few years due to the recession.

“Our tradition of sharing profits with employees dates back 100 years,” says Jay Lund, chairman, president and CEO. “This is the first time in five years that Andersen has paid profit sharing and the first time ever that employees from all three divisions are eligible to participate. After exceeding our goals for the year, it is truly a year to celebrate.”
