“I am honored to be asked to continue in a leadership role with NWDA,” says Steve Chen. “The association accomplished a great deal for its members in 2014 as part of its overall strategic plan, and there are more exciting things coming this year. I welcome the opportunity to champion these efforts for another year.”

The title of president of the NWDA is one of many for Chen. He also oversees operations for Crystal’s Chicago and Riverside (Calif.) manufacturing facilities and is the president of Crystal’s Missouri-based aluminum extrusion subsidiary.

Along with his NWDA position, Chen serves on several other boards, including the board of directors for Queens Theatre in the Park and the Queensborough Community College Advisory Board on Continuing Education.

Chen has received many notable business recognitions. The Queens Chamber of Commerce ranked him as one of the borough’s Top Executives Under 40 and he received the Rising Star Award from a leading Queens newspaper. He was also featured in 2014 by The New York Real Estate Journal as its April Executive of the Month.
