The Atlanta Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth® (ACG) named Robert Bowden Inc. (RBI) as one of the 2014 Georgia Fast 40, representing the top 40 fastest growing middle-market companies in Georgia.

“We were very impressed with the caliber of companies that were nominated this year, as we had the largest applicant pool in the history of the event,” says Dan Bauer, ACG Atlanta chapter president and chief financial officer of CardioMEMS. “These companies exemplify ACG’s focus on Middle-Market Growth and represent over 13,000 added jobs.”

Criteria and selection for the award includes the following: eligible companies must be for profit and headquartered in Georgia, most recent year-end revenues ranging from $15 million to $500 million and three years of verifiable revenue and employment growth. The applicants’ financials were validated by national accounting firm and founding Diamond sponsor, Cherry Bekaert LLP, and an ACG Selection Committee evaluated each application and conducted in-person interviews with all qualified applicants.

RBI was one of 20 honorees in the Upper Middle Market category, defined as 2013 revenues of $60-$100 million and weighted growth rate in excess of 144 percent.

The awards will be presented to honorees at the Georgia Fast 40 Awards Dinner and Gala on June 19, where guests will enjoy an evening of celebration with Honorees and 500+ of the leaders of the Georgia business community.  Honorees will also be highlighted in an editorial feature in the August issue of Georgia Trend magazine.
