GBO Inc. in Quebec, a manufacturer of doors and windows, temporarily suspended its operations late last week then announced last Friday it would file for bankruptcy. The company says it has filed a notice of intention to make a proposal pursuant to the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (Canada).

“The company will present, as soon as possible, a proposal setting out the terms of the restructuring of its debts and other obligations to its creditors,” said the statement. “The company hopes to be in a position to quickly resume operations to satisfy its customers’ orders. Suppliers of the company for goods and services provided after the filing of the notice of intention will be paid in the normal course of business.”
