The Aluminum Association and the Aluminum Extruders Council (AEC) have unveiled details for Aluminum Week, a new event that features a comprehensive educational and networking program for aluminum industry professionals.

Aluminum Week is scheduled for September 20 – 23, 2010, at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Rosemont, Ill., and will feature co-located events, including the Aluminum Association Annual Meeting and the new AEC Extrusion Symposium, an educational conference for the aluminum extrusion industry.

In addition, the Aluminum Anodizers Council (AAC) will be unveiling their new Anodizing Quality Workshop—the next level of anodizing education in the AAC School for Anodizers program—in conjunction with Aluminum Week. The week-long event is composed of programming aimed at keeping aluminum industry professionals appraised of the latest technical, business and industry issues, as well as highlighting aluminum’s role as the “green” material for a sustainable future.

Aluminum Week features sessions and events open to both AEC and Aluminum Association members.
