WTS Paradigm, supplier of fenestration software for dealers and manufacturers, announced today that it has been working in partnership with Kolbe & Kolbe Millwork Co., Inc., in changing to a platform that would promote growth and add functionality to better serve its customer base. The door and window manufacturer began by implementing WTS Paradigm’s system for quoting and order entry. Kolbe is in the process of implementing additional modules including MasterPoint, WTS Paradigm’s production scheduling system.

“We needed a more powerful end-to-end system that would improve our customers’ ability to quote and present Kolbe’s highly customized offering,” says Mike Salsieder, president of Kolbe. “The implementation strategy called for an aggressive timeline and with the help of WTS Paradigm we were able to implement this complex solution quickly,” adds Mike Tomsyck, Kolbe’s vice president of finance.

On March 1, 2010, Kolbe went live with CenterPoint, which Kolbe has branded as Kolbe ProQuote® 2010. Within a number of weeks the targets for number of users and quotes generated using the software were exceeded.

“We wanted a seamless transition to the new system for our users,” says Hank Hosler, director of information technology. “The tools and support provided by WTS Paradigm enabled us to migrate to the new system with virtually no delay.”
