All American Window & Door Company in Germantown, Wis., has won the Wisconsin Better Business Bureau’s 2009 Torch Award for Business Ethics and Integrity in the 6 to 50 Employee Category.

The company, owned by Terri and Ben Lodwick, was selected by an independent panel of nine business ethics experts and announced at a ceremony in Milwaukee on October 13. It was chosen based on its submission that demonstrated excellence in ethical practices, service excellence, reputation, honest advertising, peer recognition, management practices and employee training in ethical behavior.

“Now, more than ever, Wisconsin needs companies like All American Window & Door Company that put a high priority on ethics and integrity with their customers, their employees and their vendors,” says Randall Hoth, president/CEO of the Wisconsin BBB. “I applaud the company’s commendable business practices and its commitment to doing things the right way.”

“We’re extremely proud to receive this recognition,” adds Terri Lodwick. “We feel strongly that it validates our mission of providing our customers with the best service, products and outstanding installations.”

Roy Anderson, president of Soft-Lite LLC, All American’s supplier of replacement windows, congratulated All American for its outstanding business ethics, and pointed out that their business formula is validated with outstanding sales performance.

“They have already doubled their window sales in 2009, two months ahead of year end. This is a noteworthy achievement in a difficult economy,” he says.
