United Window and Door Makes Management PromotionsJuly 3rd, 2013 | Category: Industry News
United Window & Door Manufacturing Inc., based in Springfield, N.J., announced the promotions of two key members of its management team. The company has promoted John D’Elena to the position of vice president of marketing and national accounts and Gregg Proscia to the position of vice president of sales.
The company says the move is in response to its strong growth and expansion over the past few years, and the promotions will position United for continued growth in the years ahead as part of its plan to expand markets and product offerings.
“United has experienced significant growth over the past few years, while the overall industry was down,” says Nick Derrico, president and co-owner. We attribute this to three key components of our business; quality products, exceptional service and, most importantly, our people. Both John and Gregg have a lifetime of experience in all aspects of windows and the building products industry. They will strengthen our team and help us to better serve our customers.”
D’Elena has more than 40 years of industry experience. Before joining United in 2008 he held senior management positions at companies including Associated Materials/Alside.
Proscia previously was national sales manager at United and has more than 32 years of industry background. He served as senior vice president of sales and marketing with Silver Line for 29 years and most recently as director of business development for Milgard/Masco.
