Simonton Windows announced it now offers a free Master Consultant Sales Training course designed to strengthen in-home selling skills for remodelers and contractors.
“This full-day course brings valuable tools and skills to anyone conducting in-home sales presentations to consumers,” says Doug DeLuca, national trainer with Simonton. “We’ll include a variety of role-playing customer scenarios plus share walk-away materials that can have immediate positive impact for helping a contractor grow his or her business.”
The course covers the topics of:
- Understanding customer buying behaviors;
- Best practices for lead generation;
- Overcoming customer objections;
- How to close the sale;
- Asking for referrals and testimonials; and
- Selling features and benefits of windows.
“Once a remodeler or contractor has completed this sales training they can identify themselves as a Simonton Windows Master Consultant,” says DeLuca. “We will supply a tool kit of walk-away materials to each participating that includes customizable marketing materials, best practices documents, worksheet templates and a completion certification for them to use to help market their advanced level of in-home selling knowledge.”
