Simonton Bay Windows Earn Perfect 100 Percent Rating from Handyman Club of America

August 10th, 2012 | Category: Industry News

Simonton Windows has earned two Seals of Approval from the Handyman Club of America: one for “Contractor Tested and Recommended” and another for “Member Tested and Recommended.” According to the announcement, both rankings were received as a result of 100 percent approval ratings provide by Handyman Club of America members when installing Simonton Impressions bay windows.

According to the announcement, the bay/bow window cable support system uses a hook that attaches to the 5/16-inch all-thread at the top of the window unit, eliminating the need for two different cable lengths and the need to use knee braces or corbels to support the bay unit. A zero-slip clamp with both coarse and fine adjustments is used at the front of the unit during installation.
