Sierra Pacific Industries Hires One, Promotes Two in Windows DivisionAugust 7th, 2014 by Casey Flores
Sierra Pacific Industries (SPI) has made some personnel changes this week, hiring one and promoting two in their windows division.
Tom Takach has joined the company as vice president of operations for the windows division of SPI. In this newly-created position, Takach will oversee manufacturing and operations for Sierra Pacific’s Red Bluff, Ca. windows plant as well as the two newly-acquired Hurd and Superseal Window and Door plants in Wisconsin. Takach is a 21 year veteran in the door and window industry, with much of his career spent at Jeld-Wen.
“We are pleased that Tom has joined Sierra Pacific at a time when we are expanding our sales and manufacturing capabilities” says Kendall Pierson, president of Sierra Pacific Windows. “His background and experience have prepared him for managing the increases in sales and production we expect at our Red Bluff and Hurd facilities.”
The company has also promoted Bob Taylor to vice president of business development and customer service and Dominic Truniger to the position of vice president of sales and marketing for its windows division.
“The company will benefit from Bob’s 23 years of experience as we expand into new markets for our products,” says Pierson of Taylor.
And of Truniger, former CEO of Hurd Windows & Doors, which SPI recently acquired, Pierson says “We are excited about Dom’s branding expertise and proven track record at Hurd. We’re anticipating that kind of success for our entire window line.”
