Renewal by Andersen of Virginia and Washington, D.C., recently expanded its support of the U.S. Military through its sponsorship of the Military Bowl at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C. in December.
This recent sponsorship is an expansion of the company’s already extensive program of support for the military, which includes its “Buy a Window, Help a Hero” program, which donates a portion of every window sold to Operation Second Chance, a non-profit group of patriotic citizens committed to serving wounded, injured or ill combat veterans. In addition to the cash the company donates from every window sold, Renewal by Andersen of Virginia and Washington, D.C. also donated five free cruise vacations to wounded veterans and their families. To date the company has donated more than $27,000 and 10 cruises to the U.S. military.
“These courageous service men and women give so much of themselves to protect our way of life,” says Mark Chaikin, Renewal by Andersen of Virginia and Washington, D.C. president “We’re humbled by their commitment and honored to be able to show our appreciation.
