Reminder Regarding ICC-ES Procedural Changes
Mar 8th, 2011 | By DWM Mag | Category: Industry NewsThe ICC Evaluation Service announced in a memo in early-February that it intends to dramatically change two important aspects of its program regarding report renewals and inspections of manufacturing facilities.
Beginning April 1, 2011, reports may be renewed for one or two years, but only without change. Beginning July 1, 2011, for products that are not currently required to be under a follow-up inspection program, ICC-ES will require an annual inspection of each manufacturing facility making products that are recognized in an ICC-ES evaluation report.
