Pella Expands in Kentucky; to Create 75 New JobsMay 18th, 2011 | Category: Industry News
Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear joined Pella Corp. today in announcing that the company will expand its Murray operations, located at 307 Pella Way. The expansion will create 75 new jobs for the community, according to Pella.
“As demand for energy-efficient vinyl windows and patio doors produced in Murray grows, we look forward to expanding our workforce to manufacture energy-efficient vinyl products to meet the needs of homes across North America,” says Doug Dieleman, plant manager.
“Pella, like many of our other companies, has managed to do well even in a very bad economy,” adds Murray Mayor Bill Wells. “We are delighted to see that they are hiring people and we feel comfortable that as the economy begins to rebound there will be many more job opportunities for our hard working families.”
