NFRC Documents to Undergo ANSI Public ReviewJune 3rd, 2014 by DWM Magazine
The National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) ANS Standards Committee and NFRC board of directors approved a plan to submit the three NFRC documents that are referenced in International Code Council (ICC) Building Codes to the American National Standards Institute’s (ANSI) process. The public review and comment period is scheduled to run from May 2 – June 16, 2014.
The three documents to be submitted for public review, comment, and the full ANSI consensus process will be:
- NFRC 100: Procedure for Determining Fenestration Product U-factors;
- NFRC 200: Procedure for Determining Fenestration Product Solar Heat Gain Coefficient and Visible Transmittance at Normal Incidence; and priligy dapoxetine Priligy
- NFRC 400: Procedure for Determining Fenestration Product Air Leakage.
The documents were opened to public comment May 2, 2014. With the documents being available electronically (via the links above), the comment period will be 45 days, closing on June 16, 2014.
