MI Windows and Doors Unveils New Corporate Logo

MI Windows and Doors announced a new design of their logo that will debut on new signage outside each of their manufacturing locations. The change follows a series of organizational adjustment triggered by an ownership transition early this year. After functioning under JT Walker Industries for more than 60 years, the current management team made the decision to purchase the company from JT Walker and venture forward as a private, independent business in January.

“We wanted a cleaner, bolder look and feel, but didn’t want to sacrifice the brand our customers know and love,” says Patrick Schutte, director of marketing. “Our designers teamed up to create a logo that sticks to our roots, but will also focus our efforts toward the mantra ‘We are MIWD.’ Our new logo serves to solidify our message to our consumer.”

The new logo will be used primarily on signage, apparel and for web applications where the former logo proves less effective. It features the name of the company, MIWD, in bold white letters against a black background. Tying new to old, the signature red boxes are present above the I. The company’s tag line, “Seeing You Through,” has remained dominant and will be placed below the logo wherever practical.
