Masonite Announces Increase in Cap on Shareholders

Masonite International Corp. announced that its board of directors approved an increase in the cap on the number of shareholders of record from 490 to 1,990 (excluding employees who received shares pursuant to compensation plans) provided that not more than 490 are not accredited investors.

According to the company, the recently adopted JOBS Act increased the limit under Section 12(g) of the U.S. Securities Exchange Act of 1934 to 2,000 (excluding employees who received securities pursuant to compensation plans) provided that not more than 499 are not accredited investors.
