JELD-WEN Inc. announced today the appointment of Scott Cottrill as executive vice-president and chief financial officer, reporting to company president Philip Orsino. Cottrill will assume his new position on October 15.
Cottrill brings a wealth of global financial experience to JELD-WEN including 11 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and 14 years with Goodrich Corp., a Fortune 500 company, according to JELD-WEN. Since 2005, Cottrill served as vice president, corporate controller and chief accounting officer at Goodrich.
“We are thrilled that Scott is joining JELD-WEN’s leadership team,” says Orsino. “His broad background in global accounting and finance will be a tremendous asset to our organization. I am looking forward to working closely with Scott as we continue to implement the company’s long-term growth and profitability improvement plans.”
Cottrill graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in accounting. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Internal Auditor. He will join the JELD-WEN office in Fort Mill, N.C., outside Charlotte.
