Industry Companies Named to Inc. 5000 ListAugust 31st, 2010 by DWM Magazine
Industry companies ranging from suppliers to manufacturers to dealers have been named to this year’s Inc. 5000, a list of the fastest growing private companies in the United States compiled annually by Inc. magazine. New to the list this year, at the spot of number 826, is Power Windows and Siding, a door and window dealer based in Brookhaven, Pa. The company also ranked number 28 in the construction category and. number 13 in the Philadelphia market. The latter ranking pleased company chief marketing officer Corey Schiller most.
“We’re really excited about the Philadelphia ranking,” he told DWM magazine.
According to Inc., the company’s three-year growth was 367 percent; 2009 revenue was $79.5 million, compared to $17 million in 2006.
Schiller says he attributes the company’s success to its employees.
“That has always been the case,” says Schiller. “We have a lot of really talented, bright hard-working people. They are all invested in the company’s future and all work as a team. People who are happy and motivated just produce good work. They care about doing things the right way and they care about the customer.”
Industry supplier Edgetech I.G. was named to the list for the fourth year in a row and rose in the charts from number 4715 to 4601 in 2010. The company says it achieved this 2010 ranking because of its strong and consistent sales growth over the past three years.
“Making the Inc. 5000 list this year is quite an honor and a testament to the hard work of our employees, and the loyalty of our customers,” says Mike Hovan, president, Edgetech I.G.
While a few window manufacturers dropped off the list in 2010, those who remained include Wojan Window and Door in Charlevoix, Mich., at number 4832, and Northern Building Products in Teterboro, N.J., at number 3618.
The Inc. 5000 is an extension of Inc. magazine’s annual Inc. 500 list and ranks companies according to revenue growth from 2006 to 2009.
