Court Approves $8 Million Sale of International Window Parent Company to Universal Molding Co.July 1st, 2011 | Category: Industry News
The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California approved the sale of International Window parent company International Architectural Products’ assets to Downey, Calif.-based Universal Molding Co. during a hearing this week.
The price of the purchase was $8 million and includes the majority of the company’s assets, with the exclusion of a few items, according to court documents. Excluded items include the company’s cash, accounts receivable, tax refunds, causes of action, books and records, non-assignable permits and any and all leases. However, International’s owned property in Waxahachie, Texas, including its factory, was included in the sale, according to court documents.
