Champion Architectural Window and Door has hired Jim Daniel as director of operations to help the company increase production and quality and work on improving customer and vendor relationships.
“Jim brings 30 years of glass fabrication and window manufacturing experience,” said Michael Lentin, owner of Champion Architectural Window and Door and CitiQuiet. “His expertise and entrepreneurial sprit will help Champion improve quality, manufacturing processes and customer satisfaction.”
In his role, Daniel touches everything from vendor sourcing to manufacturing methodology to quality assurance programs and internal flow processes. He will work in the company’s Hauppauge headquarters.
“I am looking forward to working with a team of professions that focus on excellence and are driven by customer satisfaction,” said Daniel, who prior to Champion served as plant manager at aluminum and vinyl window facilities in the greater New York City region.
Rich Galietti, vice president of sales for Champion, is looking forward to taking advantage of Daniel’s experience. “Jim has experience from start-up’s to Fortune 500 companies,” said Galietti, “And his understanding of what makes a company great is exactly what we were looking for to fill this new role at Champion and CitiQuiet.”
