ATI Opens New Florida Location

Architectural Testing (ATI) has opened a new location in West Palm Beach, Fla., which will replace the company’s Riviera Beach location. The larger, more capable test facility offers 20,000 square feet of indoor space with 24 feet of ceiling clearance, a 128′ by 40′ outdoor mock-up wall, as well as improved office space and conference areas.

This new location is one of 14 strategically placed full-service laboratories across the United States and Canada, says ATI. It currently offers the following test disciplines: air, water, structural laboratory and field testing, impact and cycling testing, full-scale performance mock-up testing, as well as non-structural and structural roof uplift testing.

“We believe our new facility will further enhance the customer experience when working with us in South Florida,” says Jeff McGovern, director, regional operations for ATI. “Our close proximity to the Miami-Dade County Building Department allows ATI staff to meet face to face with building code officials, thus improving the communication process during product approvals and maintaining the hands-on approach and guidance our clients have come to expect.”
