Andersen Corp. Board Names Lund as ChairmanOctober 18th, 2012 | Category: Industry News
The board of directors for Andersen Corp. announced the appointment of Jay Lund to the role of chairman of the board.
Lund, who was named president and CEO of Andersen in March 2011, replaces chairman Jim Humphrey, who officially retires from his board role on February 22, 2013, as part of a planned transition. Humphrey joined Andersen in 1999, served as president and CEO from 2003 to 2011 and was named chairman of the board in February of 2008. He joined Andersen following a 31-year career at Armstrong World Industries.
“Under Jim’s leadership, Andersen grew its national footprint and expanded its portfolio across all price points, and types of window and doors,” says lead director Jack Morrison.
“Jay’s contributions and accomplishments over the last 27 years have been instrumental to the growth of Andersen,” Humphrey says. “We look forward to Jay taking on this additional role as chairman.”
Andersen Corp.’s 12-member board consists of eight independent directors, two family members and two members of senior management.
