AAMA Announces 2014 Scholarship WinnersJune 5th, 2014 by DWM Magazine
The American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA) announced the recipients of its six scholarships this week at the 2014 AAMA Summer Conference. Ten partner scholarships were also announced.
“We are extremely proud of this year’s group of AAMA scholarship winners,” says Rich Walker, AAMA’s president and CEO. “This next generation of leaders shows a bright future for the industry. We are pleased to support their efforts to expand their knowledge in these fields.”
The AAMA Scholarship is a one-time award of $2,000. All children of employees in good standing with AAMA member companies are eligible to obtain the financial aid for higher education in pursuit of a degree in an engineering or technical field relating Cialis 10mg to Buy Cialis the building products industry. Applicants are judged on grade point average, college entrance exam scores and a 500-word essay.
The 2014 FenestrationMasters™ Scholarship Award was awarded to David Sloane, son of Loren Sloane of Atrium Companies, Inc.; and the five AAMA Scholarship Award recipients were Jakob Hartl, son of Wilhelm Hartl of Pella Corp.; Tanner Phelps, son of Doug Phelps of Pella; Steven Patrick, son of Amy Patrick of Kawneer Company, Inc.; Tyler Foster, son of Keith Foster of Pella; and Holly Hagemann, daughter of Pella’s Patricia L. Hagemann.
Architectural Testing Inc., Graham Architectural, MI Windows and Doors, Milgard Manufacturing, PGT, Quanex Building Products, Simonton Windows and VEKA Inc. also awarded scholarships.
