A Shout out to Creative Marketers
I don’t know about you but I am sick of hearing about Black Friday and Cyber Monday and am glad these are over. What I am more interested in is how companies contributed to recent events such as Small Business Saturday and Giving Tuesday.
I wrote my blog last week about Small Business Saturday and was a little disheartened to see that not many window companies were taking advantage of the opportunity to get consumers in their doors. So I did a little follow up after the event to see if companies had any success and I did come across TR Window Services in Denver. The company’s Facebook page and company blog promoted Small Business Saturday heavily so I sent a note to see if they had any success with this promotion.
“We did! We have 10 new leads from the Saturday promotion alone,” was the response.
So a big shout out to TR Windows for being one of the window companies utilizing creative marketing ideas.
The DWM daily e-newsletter often tells stories of industry companies who give back to the community through various charitable endeavors, etc. So what about Giving Tuesday, a day, now in its second year, devoted to helping charities raise money online? Does your company do anything special on this day, and if yes, do you promote this in any way?
