President Obama’s Georgian revival home in Chicago was purchased in 2005 for $1.65 million, while Governor Romney’s New Hampshire lake house was bought in 1997 for $3 million.
According to Robert Walsh, project director at TopTenRealEstateDeals.com, early results favored President Obama with 56 percent of voters choosing his Chicago home, but the momentum swung in early October to Governor Romney with 53 percent of the votes. However in the last two weeks, President Obama’s Chicago home came surging back to tie Governor Romney’s home.
