Winkhaus Names Jim Roberts Director of Sales

Jim Roberts has been named director of sales for Winkhaus North America Inc. of Whitewater, Wis. Roberts will be charged with directing the aggressive sales growth for the company's North American operations, according to the company.

Roberts brings a wealth of experience to his position at Winkhaus. He was previously national accounts manager at Kwikset/Weiser Lock, a Black & Decker Co. While there he was responsible for programming and promotional activities of key national accounts within MRO, two-step distribution, new construction supply and national buying groups. Prior to that, Roberts was Northern division manager, U.S. sales, for Weiser Lock. According to a news release from Winkhaus, Roberts's years of experience handling the Kwikset and Weiser brands of residential door locks has exposed him to virtually all channels of distribution.
