WDMA Appoints John M. Prentice to Help "Build the Brand" John M. Prentice has been appointed director of marketing services for the Window and Door Manufacturers Association (WDMA) based in Des Plaines, Ill. Prentice is tasked with directing both external and internal marketing activities for the organization. Prentice comes to WDMA from the Concrete Reinforcing Steel Institute in Schaumburg, Ill., where he served as director of marketing. Prior, he was the president and general manager of a Chicago-area construction steel fabricator. Joel R. Hoiland, CAE and president of WDMA, said Prentice will continue to strengthen the recognition of the organization as a technical force, and especially, the code-body-recognized Hallmark Certification Program. "I'll be 'building the brand'-- promoting the association and its Hallmark Certification Program, as well as the soon-to-emerge Strategic Plan and a host of other critical marketing and promotions," Prentice said. With the appointment of Prentice, Jeffrey F. Lowinski, former acting president of WDMA, becomes vice president of technical services. Prentice holds a Bachelor's degree in management from the University of North Alabama and a Master's degree in business administration from Regis University. |
