SMA Elects New President

The Screen Manufacturers Association (SMA) gathered at the Palm Beach Hilton Ocean Front Resort in Palm Beach last month for its 50th annual meeting of the general membership. The association's annual election brought the installation of a new president, Mark DeZwarte of Alumeroll Specialty Company.

"... By creating and initiating universally-recognized screen industry standards, that meet or exceed the requirements of various governmental and code entities, and super-heading consumer-orientated programs that deal with screen safety issues, SMA has created a loud voice for industry growth while supporting and promoting consumer safety," said DeZwarte.

The association also updated its board of directors which now includes Roger Lewington of Saint-Gobain Bayform, Rob Martineau of Quanex, Alan Gray of Phifer Wire, Thomas King of Aluminite, Daniel Gray of Hanover, Robert Williams and Kelly King of RiteScreen and DeZwarte.
