Collins Promoted to Vice President at Jordan, Knauff and Co.

DWM columnist Michael Collins with Jordan, Knauff & Company, has been promoted to vice president, Building Products Group. Collins leads the investment firm’s efforts in the door and window industry, in addition to maintaining its focus on advising window and door companies on liquidity events, acquisitions and capital placements. He now will be responsible, along with G. Cook Jordan, Jr., for further developing the firm’s existing practice in other segments of the building products industry. This expansion will include the launch of the Foreign Competition Report for the U.S. Building Products Industry, which will take place this summer.

“We have a high level of confidence in the long term viability of the U.S. building products industry, and we are in the process of building a national investment banking practice in support of the entrepreneurs and private equity groups that own and operate businesses in the industry,” said Jordan. “Mike’s promotion demonstrates our continued commitment to the industry and the window and door sector in particular.”
