ViWinTech Founder Dies

Narvel "Pete" Brown, the founder of Paducah, Ky.-based Vinyl Window Technologies (ViWinTech®), passed away on August 8, 2007. Brown, 80, died of lung cancer.

Brown also founded Aluma-Kraft Inc. in 1952, and then founded ViWinTech in 1984.

He received numerous business achievement awards, was an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan, enjoyed bass fishing and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joretta Carlisle Brown, four adult children and a large extended family of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
