Seven is the Lucky Number for Simonton

The communications team at Parkersburg, W.Va.-based Simonton Windows learned last month that it won seven awards in the prestigious Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) West Virginia 2005 Crystal Awards Program.

Several weeks earlier, the company was notified that it had won seven awards in the Communicator Awards 2005 Print Media Competition, an international competition that recognizes outstanding work in the communications field, according to the company release.

"We're incredibly proud that these two organizations have recognized our work with so many awards," said Chris Monroe, vice president of marketing.

In the Communicator Awards 2005 Print Media Competition, Simonton competed with more than 5,000 entries to gain recognition. At the PRSA 2005 Crystal Awards, Simonton won recognition in every category it entered, according to the company.
