Gorell Enterprises Announces Management Changes Gorell Enterprises Inc. of Indiana, Pa., has made several changes to its management structure to allow for the continued growth of the company in 2006 and beyond. Michael Rempel, previously vice president of administration, has now assumed responsibility for the daily operations of the door and window manufacturer in his new role as president and chief operating officer. Wayne C. Gorell, who founded the company in 1994, will continue in the capacity of chairperson and chief executive officer. In addition, three Gorell managers have been elevated to executive positions in the company: Volker Valentin is the new vice president of operations. Richard Robson has been promoted to vice president, materials management, and Brian Zimmerman assumes a new position-vice president, corporate development. "I am truly excited about these changes because Gorell Enterprises is poised for even greater growth and success," Gorell said. "Anyone who knows Mike Rempel knows he is an excellent leader with great vision and analytical skill. Mike was a natural choice for the job. Our promotion of the managers is a reflection of the results they've achieved in their past positions. Their experience and skills ensure us of a smooth transition into a new era. He continued, "In my new role, I will remain very much involved in the company, but will focus on exploring new opportunities and directions for the company to continue its traditional double digit growth pattern." |
