Fibertec Window and Door Mfg. Plans to Move

Fibertec Window and Door Mfg. in Concord, Ontario, is preparing to move to a new facility in Ontario. The company says it has outgrown its previous facility, which is just two blocks east of the new location. The move was necessary due to the high demand for the company's fiberglass doors and windows for both the remodeling and new construction markets.

"In keeping with the energy efficiency and green aspect of our product lines, we chose to relocate to a new facility that allowed us to incorporate a state-of-the-art high efficient HVAC system, energy-efficient glazing throughout the front showroom and offices, no pesticide or harmful fertilized lawn care, and interior wood flooring that uses no harmful chemical adhesives," the company announced. The company plans to retain its current workforce and has brought on more employees to manage the growth.

With the recent move to the new facility, Fibertec will be adding another side slider to compliment its existing product lines. The added space will also allow the company to automate more and set up a high-speed sealed unit glass line.
