Endura Products Acquires FrameSaver

Endura Products Inc. of Greensboro, N.C., a manufacturer of entry door component systems, has announced its acquisition of FrameSaver.

Located in Nacogdoches, Texas, FrameSaver is known for its rot-resistant, moisture-proof, wood door frames.

Bruce Procton, president of Endura Products, said, "The acquisition of FrameSaver is a continuation of our goal of providing innovative products, solutions and services within the building products industry through internal growth and complementary acquisitions. The combined offerings of Endura and FrameSaver improve our ability to give our customers, the builder and homeowners products which solve real world problems relating to door unit performance. Last year, FrameSaver did $34 million in sales and will immediately be accretive to Endura."

Rick Hagel, chief executive officer of Endura, added, "Endura Products is a growing company with world-class innovation and we are very happy to be included in the Endura family. The FrameSaver management team has been in this business a long time and we are excited to see our hard work and ideas move to the next level. The combined product lines will provide excellent cost, marketing and product mix synergies."

The acquisition was completed December 1, 2005. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
