Edgetech Names Midwest Representative, New Technical Director

Larry Johnson, executive vice president of Edgetech I.G. Inc., has announced that The Kragenbring Group LLC of Hastings, Minn., has been named as the company's manufacturer's representative for Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin.

The Kragenbring Group represents suppliers of fenestration components to door and window manufacturers in the upper Midwest.

Founded by industry veteran Kyle Kragenbring, the fundamental operations of the company include project management, customer service, design assistance and prototype formulation and testing.

In addition, Edgetech has announced that it has promoted Tracy Rogers to the position of technical director. The position, which is new to the company, was formed specifically to take advantage of Rogers' 18 years of window industry experience. His responsibilities include planning and executing all research and development and new product development activities for the company. Rogers will continue as Edgetech's technical representative at industry professional association meetings.

He most recently served as North Central regional sales manager and technical representative for Edgetech. Prior to joining the company, Rogers held a variety of product development, sales, marketing and general management positions throughout the window industry. Rogers also holds five patents. He is an active member of Window & Door Manufacturers Association, National Fenestration Rating Council and Insulating Glass Manufacturers Alliance, and serves as chairperson on multiple committees and task groups in the American Architectural Manufacturers Association and Glass Association of North America.
