Consider Your Workplace Principles on Earth Day

DWM magazine has published numerous articles on green issues throughout the past year. We’ve written about everything from tips on recycling in your plants to frequent updates on industry-related green building programs such as those administered by the National Association of Home Builders and the U.S Green Building Council. I encourage you to take a minute to explore some of these “green issues” this week as tomorrow is Earth Day. We’re doing a few things at our offices tomorrow to raise awareness of environmental issues. I recently became the official green officer for Key Communications Inc., the publisher of DWM magazine, and we're planning to wear green tomorrow in honor of Earth Day—and I'll be distributing some green facts to others in the office to increase our energy efficiency. Even if it’s as simple as recognizing those in your office who have helped implement green ideas such as recycling, or something as complex as developing a green strategy for your company, is your office doing anything special?
