Crystal Windows Honored by National Business Group

Flushing, N.Y.-based Crystal Window & Door Systems has been named a 2007 Outstanding Minority Business by the National Minority Business Council. Thomas Chen, president and founder of Crystal, accepted the award at the organization’s annual recognition luncheon held on February 20 in New York City. The National Minority Business Council recognized Crystal for its demonstration of strong revenue growth and profitability as a manufacturer, as well as its customer service and relations.

“As an Asian-American immigrant business owner, I believe I have a responsibility to set an example for other minority business owners,” Chen said in accepting the award. “I tell people who come to me for advice that they can achieve great things in America with hard work and determination, and most of all, a dream.”
