Contact Industries Earns ISO 9001:2000 Certification

Portland, Ore.-based Contact Industries has received notification from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) that the company has passed all assessments and is now ISO 9001:2000-certified.

“We have always operated with quality as a first priority and this certification is proof of that commitment,” says Peter McKibbin, vice president. “As an organization we are proud to also have earned chain-of-custody certification from the Forest Stewardship Council for our environmentally responsible manufacturing processes. Both ISO and FSC certifications help us to gain respect and recognition worldwide for our company's existing mission.”
