Chelsea's Trust Series Fabricators vote Super Spacer "Favored" Status

Edgetech's Super Spacer was recently voted "flexible spacer of choice" by the vinyl window extruder's Trust Series Fabricator Network, announced Terry Abels, vice president of sales and marketing for Chelsea Building Products of Oakmont, Pa.

The group of 28 independently-owned fabricators, who build TrustGard vinyl replacement and new construction windows using Chelsea Trust Series extrusions, met at National Vinyl's Springfield, Mass. facility last April, where 23 vendors presented their products and programs for consideration by the assembly of Trust Network members from across the United States.

According to Abels, the group has since awarded "favored vendor" status to two of the 23 suppliers, Guardian Glass and Edgetech I.G. Inc.

As "flexible spacer of choice," explains Abels, "Edgetech' Super Spacer has been recognized for its high quality products and for the outstanding technical and marketing support that Edgetech provides its customers."

"Edgetech has developed for Trust Network members, a strategic partnership that promises to help both Edgetech and the fabricators who choose Super Spacer, to grow their businesses on a Chelsea quality window platform," said Abels. "A number of the members were sold on the dual-seal nature of their (Edgetech's) spacer that virtually eliminates any type of seal failure. Others cited Edgetech's marketing support, including the forward-thinking 'Health Smart Window' materials that will help them differentiate from their competitors."
