BHMA Publishes Two Revised Standards

The Builders Hardware Manufacturers Association (BHMA) has published ANSI/BHMA A 156.23-2004 American National Standard for Electromagnetic Locks. The updated standard covers requirements for electromagnetic locks, including cyclical, dynamic, operational, strength and finish tests. The association has also published ANSI/BHMA A156.24-2003 American National Standard for Delayed Egress Locking Systems. This standard covers products that cause doors to remain locked after releasing actuation for a predetermined length of time.
