B. F. Rich Conducts Its Fourth InstallationMasters Class of 2005
B. F. Rich of Newark, Del., announced that all the candidates passed the certification process following its fourth InstallationMasters class of 2005. The class was conducted by InstallationMasters accredited instructors Chris Lorber and Darryl Huber, from November 30 to December 1, 2005.
The InstallationMasters course is based on ASTM E2112 standards as developed by AAMA and ATI. The InstallationMasters Institute is administrated by Architectural Testing Incorporated of York, Pa. The course has an intensive curriculum presented over a two day period. At the end of the second day certification candidates take a 70 question objective test in which they must score a 70 percent or higher to become certified. The InstallationMasters Institute provides a means for candidates to be recertified every four years.
Chris Lorber, vice president sales manager of B.F. Rich, feels that the long term rewards of completing the certification process are clearly worth the investment candidates make through decreased call backs and increased sales. Darryl Huber, division manager for commercial and architectural sales, added that there exists a real need for qualified installers in new construction and light commercial replacement projects.
