Anderson Corp. Initiates Fund Raiser for Tsunami Relief

In the wake of the devastating earthquake and tsunami that destroyed the coastline of Southeast Asia on December 26, 2004, Anderson Corp. has launched a fundraising campaign among associates to support the needs of those whose lives were affected by the tragedy.

The Bayport Foundation of Anderson Corp. will match each dollar employees donate by February 25 up to a total of $125,000 to one of the following: The American Red Cross, The Salvation Army or Habitat for Humanity International.

"Compassion is at the core of our employees. I am humbled, but not surprised by their concern for families half-way around the world. We want to support and encourage the generosity of our employees and matching their donations is one way we can do that," said Jim Humphrey, president and chief executive officer.

Donations will be designated specifically for Tsunami relief.
