AMD Hosts Immigration Webinar

The Association of Millwork Distributors (AMD) will be hosting a webinar to discuss employer responsibilities concerning immigration and a legal workforce on August 23. Presented by immigration attorney Avalyn Castillo Langemeier, AMD says the session will provide invaluable information to help you ensure that immigration is not a bad word around your company.

As the laws and requirements become more stringent for employers, AMD suggests it may become easier to overlook an issue within your company. This webinar will cover common errors in completing the Form I-9 to help minimize risk of liability; civil and criminal penalties for I-9 violations and unauthorized employment of aliens; and proposed changes or changes in effect concerning immigration laws.

The session will be held from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
