Brenden Joins AAMA Staff as Codes and Regulatory Affairs Manager

The American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA) has announced that Ken Brenden has joined the association in a new position, as codes and regulatory affairs manager. Brenden will provide important technical liaison at affiliated industry organizations, including standards setting associations, building products coalitions, government agencies and green building organizations, as well as state, local and international code groups. He has more than 25 years experience in the window industry and has been a valuable AAMA contributor for many years.

Brenden was most recently chairperson of the AAMA board research committee, responsible for screening and prioritizing fenestration research projects.

"With solid fundamental engineering expertise and familiarity with the entire AAMA organization, Ken will hit the ground running," said AAMA executive vice president Rich Walker. Walker added, "Ken is well known in the architectural community as an ambassador, promoting new design technologies and a number of continuing education courses."
