Simonton Names Jacobs Named VP of Human Resources

Parkersburg, W.Va.-based Simonton Windows has named Robert Jacobs to fill the new position of vice president of human resources. Jacobs is responsible for managing and directing all areas of the human resources function for the national window and door manufacturer.

"Robert's vast areas of responsibility at Simonton include talent acquisition and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, safety, payroll and policy development," said Mark Savan, president of Simonton Windows. "These are critical areas for Simonton and we're confident that the talents Robert brings to this position will enhance our human resources efforts companywide."

Prior to joining Simonton, Jacobs was employed with OMRON Corp. in Schaumburg, Ill. as the vice president of human resources and administration. He earned a bachelor's. degree from Boise State University and previously lived in Kenosha, Wis.
